Vivo Y56 5G’s new 4GB+128GB variant launched at Rs 16,999 in India

Vivo has launched a new variant of its Y56 5G smartphone in India. The new variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and is priced at Rs 16,999. It is available in two color options: Black Engine and Orange Shimmer.

The Vivo Y56 5G was originally launched in India in February 2023 with a single 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 19,999. The new 4GB+128GB variant makes the phone more accessible to budget-conscious buyers.

Specifications

The Vivo Y56 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. The display has a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and comes with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage is 128GB and is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

On the back, the Vivo Y56 5G has a dual-camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.

The Vivo Y56 5G runs Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 on top. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB-C port.

Vivo is offering a Rs 1,000 cashback on the new Vivo Y56 5G 4GB+128GB variant for ICICI, SBI, One Card, IDFC First Bank, Federal Bank, and Yes Bank credit and debit card holders. This brings down the effective price of the phone to Rs 15,999.
