Amidst rumors of its upcoming foldable phone, Vivo is also working on a new mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y27s. The phone was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website with the model number V2322, confirming support for Bluetooth 5.0. No other details about the phone’s features or specifications have been revealed yet.
The Vivo Y27s is expected to be a slight downgrade from the Vivo Y27, which was launched in Malaysia a couple of months ago. The Vivo Y27 features a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It has a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a dual-rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP selfie sensor. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support and runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
The Vivo Y27 is currently retailing in Malaysia, India, and several other countries for the price of around ~$155. It is unclear when the Vivo Y27s will be launched or what its price will be. However, with the Bluetooth SIG listing, it is safe to say that the phone is in the final stages of development and should be launched soon.
