Fitbit Charge 6 Launched With Improved Heart Rate Tracking, GPS Support

Fitbit Charge 6, the latest fitness tracker from Fitbit, was launched in the US on Thursday. It features improved heart rate tracking, GPS support, and a menstrual cycle tracker. The Charge 6 is also compatible with Google Wallet, Google Maps, and YouTube Music.

Design and Display

The Fitbit Charge 6 has a sleek and stylish design. It features a rectangular color touchscreen with an always-on display feature. The body is built with aluminum and resin, while the band is made out of silicone, with an aluminum buckle. The Charge 6 is available in three color options: Coral, Obsidian, and Porcelain.

Features

The Fitbit Charge 6 is packed with features. It supports more than 40 sports modes, including running, cycling, swimming, and yoga. It also has an optical heart rate monitor, a 3-axis accelerometer, an oxygen saturation monitor, a temperature sensor, and multipurpose electrical sensors that are compatible with the ECG (electrocardiogram) application and the EDA (electrodermal activity) Scan application.

The Charge 6 also tracks heart rate, sleep cycle, breathing rate, stress management, and skin temperature. For menstruating individuals, the Charge 6 also offers a menstrual cycle tracker.

In addition to its fitness tracking features, the Charge 6 also has a number of smart features. It has inbuilt GPS, NFC connectivity for payments via Google Wallet, Google Fast Pair support, Google Maps, and YouTube Music (only with YouTube Premium subscription). The Charge 6 is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.

Battery Life

The Fitbit Charge 6 has a battery life of up to seven days. It can be charged using the included magnetic charger.
