New Face Authentication Feature in PM Kisan App to Help Farmers Update e-KYC

government has introduced a new face authentication feature in the PM Kisan app to help farmers update their e-KYC. This new feature will allow farmers to update their e-KYC without having to visit a physical location.

To update their e-KYC using the face authentication feature, farmers need to download the PM Kisan app from the Google Play Store. Once the app is installed, they need to open it and tap on the “e-KYC” option. They will then be prompted to scan their face using the app’s facial recognition technology.

If the facial recognition technology is able to match the farmer’s face with the one on their Aadhaar card, the e-KYC will be updated successfully. Farmers who are unable to update their e-KYC using the face authentication feature can still do so by providing their Aadhaar number and OTP.

The introduction of the face authentication feature in the PM Kisan app is a welcome move. It will make it easier for farmers to update their e-KYC and avoid any delays in receiving their payments.
